Featuring Bryan Briedan playing in a band called... "the Pumpouts" ... classic... beer/pizza/cash bar If anyone want to brig kids they have basketball and walleyball courts for rent cheap. Maybe some of us could get there early and get in a workout before the marathon... Spring Fling at the Swetka's May 17thWhy not? We have the space to throw a pretty nice party! Spring Meeting at the Hutt's April 19th John and Sherry Hutt put on a great party with some fantastic food. Jambalaya and two types of Gumbo. I was stuffed! But Happy ;-) The Spring Meeting (click here for agenda) went fine. There was some interest in a Fleet Championship consisting of a small group of races (ie Crescent Regatta and Labor Day weekend). Also the "Buddy System" generated some interest. Each boat will get assigned a buddy. The scoring will be combined scores of you and your buddy. Hopefully it will create a fun mentoring program for us. |
